How it hangs
Drop on each side
The drop is how far the coverlet hangs down each side, measured from the top of your mattress. For the sides to be covered, it should be at least as deep as your mattress.
Drop on each side = coverlet width minus mattress width, halved.

NZ King mattresses vary slightly, from about 165 to 168 cm wide. Measurements are approximate and can vary slightly with fabric and quilting.
Coverlet or comforter?
A lighter layer
Our coverlets are quilted with a light 120 GSM polyester fill. Use one on its own through spring and summer, or layer it over sheets when you want something lighter than a comforter. For winter warmth, a comforter is the better choice.
- Care: cold gentle machine wash or hand wash, rinse well, line dry only
- Do not bleach or dry clean

Sizing questions
What size coverlet fits a Queen bed?
The Queen / King coverlet (260 x 240 cm). It gives a 54 cm drop on each side of an Australian Queen.
What size coverlet fits a King Single bed?
The King Single / Double coverlet (210 x 220 cm). It gives a 51.5 cm drop on each side of a King Single.
Will the Queen / King coverlet fit a King bed?
Yes. On an Australian King it gives a 38.5 cm drop on each side. For a fuller drape, the Super King coverlet gives 48.5 cm.
What size coverlet fits a New Zealand King bed?
The Queen / King coverlet gives about 46.5 cm on each side of an NZ King, or the Super King gives about 56.5 cm. NZ King mattresses vary slightly, from about 165 to 168 cm wide.

Should I choose a coverlet or a comforter?
A coverlet has a light 120 GSM fill, so it suits warmer months on its own or layered over sheets. For winter warmth, choose a comforter.
