A beautiful comforter set. My daughter likes to have weight and warmth as she sleeps. This comforter does not disappoint. She would even go so far as to say it's too warm.

Not as expected

The comforter doesn’t look at all like it does in the pictures online, it’s not something I’d have on top of my bed, however would be a comfy blanket to use above the sheet.

The Morgan & Reid Snuggle Comforter is designed to be a very fluffy, textured fleece comforter rather than a traditional flat quilt, which is why it has that thicker, plush look and feel. Many customers use it as their main comforter, while others prefer using it more like a cosy blanket layer as you mentioned, so that part of your experience is actually quite common.
